Eaton Family Credit Union, a member owned, not-for-profit, financial cooperative was established in 1937. Originally named the Dual Ratio Federal Credit Union, the Credit Union was established to serve the employees of the Eaton Axle Plant on the eastside of Cleveland, OH.
Our Credit Union has changed a lot since the infancy of the credit union movement in the 1930’s, especially in the products and services we offer. Eaton Family Credit Union has grown into a full-service financial institution offering a wide range of financial products and services, now serving more than 10,000 members worldwide.
2000
Membership open to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in the City of Euclid.
2006
Extension of field of membership to the community of Lake County.
The addition of Wickliffe Community Credit Union, the City of Wickliffe and Wickliffe City Schools.
2007
Eaton-Hydraulics Searcy FCU members from Searcy, AR and Arkansas Lime joined us.
All Employees Credit Union combined with Eaton Family Credit Union bringing relationships with the community of Willoughby Hills, TRW, GM-Euclid, ArgoTech, PCC Airfoils, Accutrate Metal, GE-Tungsten and other corporate partners.

You and your family are welcome to join if you live, work, worship or attend school in Eastlake, Euclid, Wickliffe, Willoughby, Willoughby Hills or Lake County, Ohio.

You become a member of the Credit Union by opening a savings account with an initial deposit of at least $5. You remain a member as long as you maintain a minimum balance of $5 in your account.
Once you become a member of Eaton Family Credit Union, you are always a member! You can still use our financial services even if you change companies, move, or retire.

Three Cleveland-area locations including Babbitt Road in Euclid, Rockefeller Road in Wickliffe and Chardon Road in Willoughby Hills. At shared branch member credit unions you can deposit funds, withdraw cash and make loan payments. Our four ATM networks have you covered with surcharge-free transactions throughout the Great Lakes and Southeast. FREE Web Bill Pay, Online Banking and our MATT TouchTone Teller means that you can have your funds day or night.

Eaton Family Credit Union is a financial cooperative where each member has a say in our future. Everyone is welcome to attend and participate in events throughout the year including our Annual Meeting held each spring. Supervisory Committee and Board of Directors are valued for their volunteer work.
Supervisory Committee
The Supervisory Committee meets monthly to review loans for accuracy and count cash in the vault. Members of the Supervisory Committee attend board meeting quarterly and our annual planning meeting. At the annual meeting the Supervisory Committee presents their audit report.
Board of Directors
Board members meet monthly to review the credit union’s financial health and strategic plan. The Board of Directors helps set the future direction of the credit union during our annual planning meeting.
